About this activity
A museum and extensive park with interactive galleries, a recreated Victorian Street, gardens, riverside and woodland walks, an adventure play area and cafés. Museum admission is charged, while access to the wider park is free. The museum normally closes on Mondays but opens on bank holidays and during some Stockton school holidays. Separate charges and opening arrangements apply to nearby attractions such as Butterfly World and the railway.

National Trust members and under-fives enter free. House, entrance and grounds have different closing times and winter arrangements vary.
