About this event

Christmas songs become rooms to explore at Bamburgh Castle, where the State Rooms are dressed with displays inspired by different festive favourites. Follow the installation through the castle and see how familiar carols and seasonal music have been turned into decorations, scenes and surprises. Children can look for details as you go, while grown-ups enjoy the combination of Christmas nostalgia and the castle’s grand interiors. This is an indoor festive installation included with normal castle admission, so you don’t need to buy an extra ticket for A Christmas Carousel. It makes a lovely focus for a winter visit to the Northumberland coast. The display runs into the New Year, but the castle is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
