Christmas Greetings Live

music dance

About this event

Hear familiar Christmas music played live in the surroundings of Alnwick Castle, with ballet adding another layer to the evening. Violinist Matthew Glossop and the Bloomsbury Soloists lead a programme drawing on festive films and classical favourites, including music from Home Alone and The Snowman alongside The Nutcracker and Vivaldi. For families who enjoy listening to live musicians together, the appeal is hearing those recognisable melodies away from the television and in a historic setting. Choose between two performances, each lasting around 70 minutes. Doors open an hour before the music begins, so check the performance time on your ticket when planning your arrival. The organiser has not specified a minimum age; check suitability directly if bringing younger children.
