About this event
Explore The Night Before Christmas through festive sights, sounds and textures at The Hearth’s sensory storytelling session. Led by EmpowerEd North, the morning gives young people different ways to experience the story, and lets each young person choose how much participation feels comfortable. A Christmas craft provides something to make and take home too. This listing is for the under-16 session on 12 December, from 10am to noon. Families receive a visual guide or social story beforehand, and the team contacts them about communication, sensory and access needs so the session can be adapted. Places must be booked in advance by email. Parents and carers attend free and stay throughout; the separate afternoon session for ages 16+ is not this booking.
