Family New Year’s Eve Party 2026

days out attractions

About this event

Celebrate the New Year while children still have energy to dance at Gosforth Civic Theatre’s daytime family party. DJs mix music for grown-ups and little ones, and Mini Crafters returns with themed activities in the craft room. At the end of the two-hour session, everyone can join a big-screen countdown for an early “midnight” moment. Choose the noon or 4pm party on New Year’s Eve. There’s a special food menu and a bar for separate purchases, so you can plan a meal into the celebration if you wish. Seating is not guaranteed for everyone and buggy space is limited. Babes in arms under twelve months attend free, and bookings are limited to eight tickets per purchase. Children remain part of the family party throughout.
