Festive Courtyard Music: Urban Chorus

music dance

About this event

Hear Gateshead’s Urban Chorus bring festive music to the courtyard at the Land of Oak and Iron Heritage Centre. The mixed-voice choir’s repertoire draws on pop and rock from the 1980s onwards, offering a different flavour from a traditional carol service. Families can listen together and make the music part of an afternoon stop in Winlaton Mill. The performance runs from 2.30–3.30pm on 6 December, with no booking or performance charge. Wrap up for the courtyard; indoor seating is also available. Food and hot drinks can be bought from the café, and courtyard seats and benches are reserved for café customers. The centre asks visitors not to bring their own refreshments or picnics.
