Pop-Up Hospital Family Fun Day

A free family activity day with Great North Children’s Hospital staff. Families can try interactive activities and hands-on arts and crafts inspired by physiotherapy and radiology, meet representatives from local services and charities, and explore medieval medicine with costumed Newcastle Castle volunteers. The event is drop-in, with no booking required.

Access notes
Level access is currently through the Cathedral’s East Entrance because the step-free West Entrance is temporarily closed. The Cathedral has accessible toilets, baby-changing facilities, lifts, a hearing loop and welcomes assistance dogs. Some historic floor surfaces are uneven and some areas have steps.
