Teen Art: Northern Lights in Pastels

arts crafts

About this event

Let older children try capturing the colours of the Northern Lights in pastels at The Word. Artist Graham Hodgson leads this teen art session, with a winter sky as the focus for their drawing. It offers something creative for young people who would rather spend part of the Christmas holidays making art than joining a younger children’s festive activity. The workshop is specifically for ages 12–16 and takes place on 22 December from 4–6pm. Tickets are £2 and must be booked in advance. The published listing does not describe the teaching steps or experience level required, so ask The Word if your young person has particular questions or needs assistance to take part.
