About this event
Begin with Santa and his elves on stage, then climb aboard a decorated heritage train for the next part of the adventure. The Elf Express combines a short interactive performance with a railway journey, Christmas music, photo opportunities and a gift from Santa for children aged 0–12. A hot drink and sweet treat are included too. It’s a particularly appealing combination for little train enthusiasts who also love a bit of festive theatre. Your booked time is the start of the museum show, rather than the train’s departure, so plan to be ready for that first part. There is some waiting outdoors: coats, hats and suitable shoes will help keep everyone comfortable. Buggies can be left in the museum while you ride; ask staff when you arrive.
