About this activity

A volunteer-run heritage railway offering steam and diesel train journeys through countryside between Gateshead and County Durham. Andrews House is the principal station and includes the engine shed, parking and café facilities. Trains only run on published operating dates, generally selected Sundays, bank holidays, summer Saturdays and special-event dates. Always check the live timetable and book the appropriate journey before travelling.
