About this event
Spend time at Tanfield Railway’s festive Andrews House setting with Mrs Claus’s stories, Christmas activities and a visit to Santa in his decorated workshop and grotto. Each child receives a gift, and family treats and refreshments are included, with unlimited tea and coffee for adults. The 90-minute experience leaves time to enjoy the Christmas surroundings as well as hear the story and meet Santa. It takes place at Andrews House Station and is a station-based visit: a train ride is not included. That distinction matters if you have a little railway enthusiast expecting to climb aboard. Tickets must be booked in advance for a particular session on 9 or 16 December, with an extra early-afternoon option on the latter date. Free parking is included.
