Make the Christmas table decoration a family project at Shipley Art Gallery. Florist Hollie Summers-Stafford guides you through building a freestanding arrangement with fresh spruce, then adding baubles, bows and metallic decorations. You can create something for your own table or give your finished piece as a handmade present. The workshop welcomes ages five to adult, with children supported by a grown-up, and up to three people can work together on one centrepiece. That makes it an option for a parent and child or several generations to share, rather than everyone needing to make a separate arrangement. When booking, select both the number of centrepieces and the number of people taking part. Advance booking is essential for the 45-minute session.
