About this event
An inventive father transforms a broken racing car into the start of a fantastical family adventure in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Bring children to follow the journey and share a film that grown-ups may remember from their own childhood, with Beamish’s Grand Cinema giving it a suitably nostalgic setting. The cinema is a recreation of the Grand from Ryhope, now part of the museum’s 1950s Town. This post-Christmas screening requires its own advance booking; Beamish passes cannot be used instead of a cinema ticket. Children under 16 need an accompanying adult. The listing does not confirm a certificate or finish time, so check the film guidance and running time before deciding whether it suits your family.
