About this event
A Christmas Eve train journey to the North Pole sets the scene for Polar Express at Beamish’s Grand Cinema. Follow a young passenger discovering friendship, courage and belief along the way, with a railway adventure on screen that fits the museum setting especially well. The event is a film screening in the recreated Grand Cinema in the 1950s Town; the ticket does not advertise a themed train ride or Santa meeting. Book cinema admission online in advance, as museum passes are not valid for the screening. Under-16s must attend with an adult. Check the film certificate and running time before booking for younger children, as those details are not stated in the event heading.
