About this event
Share a Christmas film favourite in Beamish’s recreated Grand Cinema, where the setting is part of the outing. The Muppet Christmas Carol brings its familiar characters to Dickens’s story of a Christmas-hating miser and the spirits who help him see his life differently. The mix of a well-known tale and Muppet humour gives different generations something to enjoy together. The cinema recreates the Grand from Ryhope in Sunderland, within Beamish’s 1950s Town. This screening needs its own pre-booked cinema ticket; a museum pass does not cover it. Cinema ticket holders can arrive at the museum entrance from one hour before the film, with seating in the cinema available 20 minutes ahead of the start. The film is certificate U, and under-16s must attend with an adult.
