About this event
Whoville’s Christmas celebrations are under threat from its grumpiest neighbour in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Follow the green troublemaker’s plan to spoil the season at a screening in Beamish’s recreated Grand Cinema, giving families a familiar festive story in an unusual setting. The Grand is part of the 1950s Town and recreates a cinema originally from Ryhope in Sunderland. Its heritage surroundings add something different to the trip for grown-ups as well as children. The film is certificate PG, so consider the guidance for your own viewers. A separate online booking is required and museum passes are not valid. Under-16s must be accompanied, and cinema doors open 20 minutes before the advertised start.
