About this event
End the year with Dorothy, Toto and a journey to the Land of Oz at Beamish’s Grand Cinema. After a tornado carries Dorothy away from Kansas, she and her new friends set out to find the Wizard and a way home. It’s a fantasy adventure to share across generations, with the cinema’s historic setting adding another kind of journey into the past. The New Year’s Eve screening takes place in the recreated cinema in the 1950s Town. The film is certificate U; under-16s must come with an adult. Book the cinema ticket in advance rather than relying on museum admission or a Beamish pass. Entry to the museum is available up to an hour before the showing.
